Dr Thokozani Nzimakwe

Dr Thokozani Ian Nzimakwe is an academic/researcher at the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

His research interests include local governance and service excellence in public sector settings.

Dr Nzimakwe has published widely in scholarly journals, contributed various book chapters, and has delivered conference papers nationally and internationally.

Dr Nzimakwe holds a doctorate in Public Administration and Management.

His area of expertise include public sector governance, local economic development and municipal finance.

He has served in Audit and Performance Committees in municipalities, and has Board membership experience in public entities, and currently serve as an Accreditation Committee Member of the Institute of Local Government.
